trying new stuff

I'm so sick of the same old food. Everyone in this house is sick of the same old food, but I don't know what or how to fix stuff they will like.  Every time I try new stuff they don't like it ..Well except for the smoothies.. That has been successful .. Yesterday I even added spinach to mine to see if I could tell, nope.. So now I'm gonna try to sneak it into Jeff and Jordans..I made kale chips today with our hamburgers.. I liked them, Jordan didn't, but I think with less of the cayenne pepper he will like them.. Next time I know to really pile the kale in the pan, cause they shrivel up to almost nothing.

So far its still a go for us to come to the bday party on Sunday. I still need to get directions though.. We got lost the last time we came over. Then we got lost trying to leave town.

Cole getting too big

Well I pissed Jeff off , When I asked him what he wanted to give Cole for his bday , he said nothing.  I told him thats not fair.  So I got Cole a small cake from HEB and a card with money in it.  Jeff didn't know about the money.. I didn't tell him, I didn't keep it from him either . I just didn't bring it up.  So today he asked me how much I gave Cole and I told him the same amount that Jordan got for his bday.  So that is what pissed him off.. He doesn't agree that Cole should get money for his bday anymore.  I disagree.. If we have the money , and I want to give it to them what is the harm in that.  So I guess I will have to get a job next year if I want to give Cole money for his bday. Jeff also through a fit when Cole asked me to take in his boots to be repaired.. I told him I would , its not like I'm busy.  Again Jeff said you don't do things for me, but you jump when Cole asks you to do something.  Which is not true, I do everything for Jeff.. We have had this fight before and when I said I do everything for you , he said you don't wash my coffee mug from work.  So now after I great him at the door, like a good 1950's wife and kiss him , I take his mug and wash it.  So when he again threw in my face that I don't do anything for him , I just walked away.. I mean really what else does the man want from me.. Sometimes I think I should really get a job when Jordan gets a car.. Just so I won't be doing all the stuff the Jeff said I don't do for him , so he will actually see what I do..

I think Jordan is going to come with me on Sunday to the bday party.  I'm looking forward to visiting with everyone.

More tree's

Today is another day of tree cutting , Jeff is determined to get it done.. We will probably go up to the hospital for a bit then come home and do tree's . Jordan works just the lunch rush, so he will be home to help today.  My uncle's chain saw is larger than Jeff's , but he couldn't get it to start last night.. The ladder is huge though, so Jeff will be able to get up to the taller limbs.

Well really not much else to write about.  I'm hoping to go to the bday party on Sunday.  Jordan is off work and I'm going to see if would come along so he can get some driving time in..

Back on my pills

Well I'm still carrying around that extra ten pounds I gained from both surgeries.  Its all in my belly area still.. I look  pregnant. I have never had that problem before. Usually my weight gain is all over not in one area.  Everyone I talk to said I'm still bloated and its just the gas from the combined surgery.  Rondi told me when she had back surgery and she bloated up like I am it took 6 months for it to go away. She said it was weird its like she went to bed and then woke up with it gone. Lost 10 pounds in her sleep. Oh that would be nice!! Anyway I got back on my thyroid pills on Saturday, I have been off them for a while.  I don't know why I stopped taking them.. Just stupid I guess.  Hopefully between the pills, hormones, exercise, and eating better will get me where I want to be.

I am peeling from my sunburn I got from the tree cutting day and it is driving me nuts. I can't believe that I , the sunblock nagger, forgot to put sunblock on.. Yes Jeff is eating that shit up..I hate being sunburned, I hate my skin peeling !!!

I just mowed the front yard last week and it already needs it again.. Wasn't able to mow the back yard because of all the shit in the yard, now I need do it.. It is soooo tall.. I picked up sticks last night and plan to mow it here in a bit.. I just need to get motivated to do it.. With the cloud cover, I got the lazy's.

We are going to go to Jeff's dad's side of the family reunion in July.  We have never been. He hasn't been since he was a young boy, but he has been in contact with his Hayes family through facebook and they have talked him into going. I understand that he wants to see these people that he hasn't seen in years, but I would just rather do something else..Vonda is going to come and house/dog sit for us.. Mandy doesn't think they will have the money to go, but she is going to try. There house payment jumped from $760 to $1300. Had something to do with there home owners insurance.. I gave them the ones we used and now there payment went down to $780, but it will take a month for the change to go into effect..Our house payment is probably going to go up due to the taxes.. Since we have been here our taxes have gone from $1500 to now $1900. On a good note our property value has increased ten thousand since last year..We still talk about selling this place.. If Jeff could find a job somewhere else we would move in a heart beat.. I would love to just get rid of everything and buy a really nice travel trailer and some land..Once Jordan moves out we really don't need this house.. Hell he would move into a travel trailer with us. He doesn't care as long as he can access internet to play xbox.. My mom said we could live at her place, but my dream would be to travel around and stay at different places, but you gots to have money for that..

Our insurance company paid us a lot more than what I expected and they were so fast at getting a check to us. Now we just have to wait for the morage people to mail back our check.. I think thats such bullshit.. Insurance people said it is now the law. The check had to be in both Jeff's name and Green Tree .. So we had to mail them the check they sign it and mail it back to us.. Its not fair they didn't fork out the $1400 to fix the electricty. They didn't spend two days cutting tree's and hauling them off.. Why do they have to sign the check?????  Anyway moving on..

Well I have had my coffee, now I really need to go mow... hope everyone has a great week..

No time to exercise

I have not exercised this week like I had a planned, but I did get exercise in.  I hurt in places that make me feel old. We did massive yard work for two days.  The first day it was just me and Jeff and we worked from 11:30-7.  I tell you I got more of a full body workout hauling limbs and cutting them down than I would have doing my dvd. The second day Jordan was home to help, so my work was cut in half. We also didn't work as long, 10-3 or so.. Then Jeff built a fire in the fire pit and we roasted weirners and had smores that evening.. It was nice to sit and chill.. I also had two beers.  Thats something we have started doing again.. Having a few drinks on Jeff's day off. We are still not done out back.  We have to get a bigger chain saw to finish up.  I also want Jeff to make a bench out of the thickest piece of tree thats left.  He likes the idea, so he is going to try..I think it would look cool by our fire pit. I was thinking about mowing the back yard this morning, but right now I don't feel up to the task.

My cousin from Washington is coming in for the weekend, well she is flying down with her two kids to leave them with my aunt and uncle for the summer. So Saturday night we are suppose to join the family in a get together to eat and visit.  We are also suppose to go to Norton for Jeff's family reunion Saturday morning. We haven't been to one in about 9 years.. They just are so boring and when the boys were younger there was nothing for them to do. Now its just so boring!!

Well I did that lemonaid cleanse three times yesterday , and then bailed.. I can't do it.. I would rather take a pill that cleaned me out then drink that stuff and not eat.. I have no will power, I need food..

I am having an issue with my checking account.. I have always rounded up to the nearest dollar when subtracting my balance, that way I never have to figure in the cents. I suck at math so why add numbers, plus it has been sort of a savings account. We have done and bought things with all that extra cents.  Anyway as of two weeks ago when I figured the check book we were $135 over what the bank showed and everything had cleared already.  Then Jeff got paid on the 13th , but we didn't have electricity so no internet until late so I didn't pay bills or figure the account. Then all weekend I was busy getting food again and doing laundry, cleaning up from not having electric. Then we did yard work and so yesterday was the first time for me to sit down and figure the check book and pay bills. Only now my account is under that additional $135. I have gone all the way back to January and re added and subtracted and checked evrything that has cleared three times and can't find it.. How did it just vanish with out a trace.. I called the bank and a woman was helping me we got all the way to March then she had to help someone in person and said she would call me back,  but she never did. I tell you it is driving me crazy that the money is just gone, like it was never there..

I really want another tattoo, I know what I want , I just don't know exactly where I want it..

Electricity is so nice!

I'm so thankful we have electricity again.  That was a hard two days, I feel sorry for those that have to go longer without. Of course they probably have somewhere to go. We could have left too if we didn't have so many dogs. Oh well , now we wait for the insurance adjuster to come on Monday, hopefully we get fully refunded what we had to pay the electrician plus money to pay for additional damage done from the tree falling.

the gym

Well I went down to our Anytime Fitness yesterday to get prices for me and Jordan. I was thinking about how good Laura is doing and wanted to give weight lifting a serious try. Plus I think it would be good for Jordan. Well its not going to happen. As soon as walked in I felt over whelmed. I'm just not a gym type girl. I hate all the people staring at me. The guy I talked to was really nice and showed me around, but I just didn't feel comfortable. Not to mention I seriously do not want to spend $100 dollars a month for 12 months. So I will just continue to work out here at home.  Jordan said he would just buy him some free weights and go on youtube..  Love that kid!
Jordan got another raise at work, he is now making more money than Cole ever did up there. Cole worked there for two and half years and Jordan hasn't even  been there a year yet.. go Jordan!!!  So proud of him.. He really enjoys working up there. He got a really good compliment the other night. The owner's friend came threw the drive through the other day, Jordan of course was the runner, anyway she told Jordan and the owner that he was the best most funniest person she has ever dealt with up there.. I tell him all the time he is a funny kid, but I guess coming from a stranger means more than what mom says.. LOL

Day Trip

So Monday Jeff and Jordan were off work, so we took a day trip to Abilene.. It was suppose to be for Jeff to find a amp for his acoustic guitar , but I am the one who raked it in..LOL  Jeff is looking for a certain amp and was under the impression that Abilene had a certain music store there , where he was sure to get what he wanted.. That was not the case. The music store is only located in Lubbock and Ft. Worth.. So Abilene's small music stores only had what ours have.. He could order it on line , but hello , shipping would eat us up.. I told him we could go to Ft. Worth yesterday, and stay the night at my moms. Jordan didn't have to go to work until 5 Tuesday.  He didn't want to leave the dogs alone over night.. Daisy and Harley are really needy. They would probably go into shock if left alone that long. But I was willing to give it a chance for Jeff to get what he wants, but Jeff said no , he didn't feel comfortable leaving them by themselves that long.. yes we love our dogs that much. So since the music store was a bust, we went and ate at some Mexican Restraunt it was really good and looked pretty cool inside.. Laura you would love love love the queso it was amazing..Then from there we went to the mall.. I just wanted to check Dillards to see what coach purses they had compared to ours.. Man they have twice as much as our Dillards does.. I was just at ours two days ago and saw a really cute black one with studs on the bottom, but it was $378.. yea NO... I'm a purse whore , but if I'm paying that I want it to be bigger than my wallet..Anyway Abilene had the same purse for way way less, I think it was like $220 or something like that.. While I was debating on getting that purse I came across anther one I liked so much more.. It is the one I bought and posted the pics of.. I have never had a white purse before , and it probably will be a mistake, but I will get some leather cleaner for it.. I am in love with this purse...Then from there we walked by Sunglass Hut and Jeff stopped to look.. His are pretty old and scratched up.. We got to trying on glasses and the sales guy even talked us into trying on a brand we are not familiar with called Maui Jim , they are polarized or something like that.. All I know is it made everything more vibrant and clear.. So all three of us walked away with sunglasses..  I didn't plan on getting any , but I tried on a pair and Jeff really liked them on me, so he made me get them.. seriously he did, I truely didn't want to get any cause I just spent so much on my purse, but Jeff get them.. So who am I to argue with that.. Right??   Oh , but that is not all my sweet husband bought me. While we were at the purse section there was a lady looking at purses and you know me, I got to talking to here about my purse obsession, and she got to talking to me about this new mascara she just started selling.. It is called Magic Mascara or something like that.. Anyway she had on regular mascara on one eye and the magic stuff on the other eye.. She is 60 years old and here eyelashes were amazing... I bought a tube.. I will post pictures to let yall see how it works.. So all in all I had a really awesome day..

Not much of nothing

Really nothing new has been going on.  My insurance decided since Jordan turned 17 that he would have his drivers liscense and just automatically added him.  I called them to tell them he still only has his permit, but they said since he is 17 he has to be added as a driver.. So now my insurance jumped up an extra $230 dollars.  They added him to my car not the truck.  Which is fine cause he drives the car not the truck.. I looked at Jordan and told him he now has a bill.. I'm not paying that.. Hopefully this will be an insintive for the boy to want to drive and get his on vehicle.. I didn't have this problem with Cole, he wanted to drive all the time when he got his permit.. Jordan never wants to drive.. He said he doesn't like driving our vehicles, but he doesn't look for one for himself.. We look for him.. I'm going to be purchasing his junior year classes next week so he can start school again.  He's had about two weeks of summer , time to get busy.. I can't wait for him to be done.. This school year is going to be cheap on us only $200.
Jeff has been looking for an amp and an electric guitar at pawn shops and the music stores here in town.. He has an acustic that he just bought a month ago, but apparently he now needs those other things.  He wants an amp that has dual plugs so he can attach a mic, because he wants me to sing while he plays.. He said it would be fun.. yes fun for him laughing his ass off at how terrible I sing... I told him I will not be singing with a mic in front of him.. He knows this, I don't sing in front of anyone..Jordan can be his entertainment. Anyway he hasn't been able to find what he is looking for. Well let me rephrase that he hasn't been able to find what he is looking for at the price he wants to pay.  So he is off on Monday and Tuesday this next week and we are going to try and go to Abilene to look at there music store.  It all depends on Jordan's work schedule..
Last week I started exercising again.. I exercised  for about two and half hours. I was extremly exhausted.  This week Jordan informed me that he watched some youtube video about exercising and that I should only exercise 30-60 minutes.  So sweet that he was looking out for me.. So this week I'm taking his advice and doing the T25 and allternating days adding the treadmill and eleptical. I do feel better.
I bought me a chair to start laying out in to get some color, but its been so hot I don't want to go outside..LOL
Mandy and the kids stopped by for a visit on Tuesday, now that girl needs to stay out of the sun..I do believe too much sun makes you look old and your skin looks like leather.. I don't want that , I just want a touch of color.
